The Administration & Human Resource Department oversees personnel management, staff welfare, recruitment, training, promotions, discipline, and general administrative services. It ensures compliance with civil service regulations, coordinates capacity building, and manages protocols, records, and corporate services.

The Audit Department monitors internal controls, financial compliance, risk management, and ensures transparency in all operations of the Corporation.

The Commercial Department handles customer services, billing, revenue generation, meter management, and complaint resolution.

The Corporate Planning Department manages strategic planning, performance monitoring, policy formulation, and long-term development.

The Finance Department is responsible for budgeting, accounting, treasury management, and financial reporting.

The Project Department coordinates infrastructure development, expansion projects, and donor-funded initiatives.

The Unit was created after meeting the Preparedness, Eligibility and Readiness criteria but was reconstituted on 17 February 2023. The Unit is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the SURWASH Program and day-to-day management and for institutional and capacity-building aspects of the program in the Corporation. The SURWASH Program is the “Sustainable Urban and Rural Water Supply Sanitation and Hygiene Program for Results (SURWASH). The program was initiated by the World Bank to support the Nigerian Government in the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP or ‘AP’) for the Revitalization of Nigeria’s WASH Sector.

The Quality Control Department ensures water supplied meets national and international drinking water standards.

The Operations Department manages water production, treatment, transmission, and distribution.

The Urban Sanitation Department oversees sanitation services and hygiene promotion.
